During the Corona crisis, Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv needed to relocate its eye clinic, the Retina Unit, to continue to provide vision care for patients in need, without putting them at risk. WeWork partnered with Ichilov Hospital to transform the tenth floor of our ToHa location in Tel Aviv into an active eye clinic.
Dr. Michaela Goldstein, Director of the Retina Unit said: "Many of our elderly patients have been afraid to come to our clinic at the hospital and we were looking for an alternative site to set up operations. WeWork adopted us in the most extraordinary way and donated a big space where we were able to set up our equipment. They have helped us in every possible way.”
The Lev Echad organization, which works to provide 24/7 aid during crises, needed a place to set up satellite control rooms to help those in need during the Corona crisis. On a daily basis, Lev Echad has over 40 volunteers stationed across the country providing groceries, medicine, emotional support over the phone, and welfare assistance to people in need.
